As the days start getting longer and the sun nudges its way past the clouds more regularly, we’re getting all geared up for some true outdoorsy treats with our coach trips. One of the highlights of the year for Masons Minibus and Coach Hire and the many guests that join us on our trips is the various flower shows!

As we eagerly count down the days for summer to fully bloom, we thought we’d give a little overview of the various flower shows and gardens that we’ll be visiting throughout summer and autumn so that you’ve got plenty of time to plan your trip.

Woburn Abbey Garden Show – Sunday 25th June

For the 8th time now, Woburn Abbey will be opening up its doors for a spectacular garden show. With a whole host of talks from gardening experts, in-depth Q&A sessions, and of course fantastic flower displays, this event is sure to kick off summer in style. Come along with us on 25th June to take in the wonders of nature, lunch in the Duchess Tea Room, and to meet the pet piggies that will be squealing about the place!

Eastern Walled Garden Country Market – Sunday 3rd September

Although this is dubbed an ‘autumn’ country market, if past years are anything to go by, this delightful country market will take place on a beautiful summery day as early September holds onto its summer feel as long as it can. However, there are plenty of autumn-themed treats to get everyone in the mood for that magical time of year! The market will showcase the best nibbles and crafts in the region, along with live music and demonstrations. A great place for gift shopping or to treat yourself to some vintage items or home-made delicacies, the garden locations make this a magical day out.

Wisley Gardens and Flower show – Sunday 10th September

What better way to finish up the summer bloom of flower shows than a trip down to Surrey for the 25th RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show. As one would expect from an RHS show, stunning plants will be abundant – the perfect day trip for the horticulture enthusiast. Of course, for the gardening novice, there is still plenty to see and experience, even if just to wander around the excellent displays crafted by the true experts in this field.

If you’ve not yet booked a trip for yourself to any flower shows this year, we hope that this has inspired you to plan a treat for yourself this summer! Tickets to each of these events can be booked on our website’s Days Out section, or you can call us on 01296 661604 to speak with a member of our friendly team.
