Our show stopper holiday of the year, this is not for the faint hearted, with excursions packed into every day to ensure you see the most of the breathtaking scenery and experiences that Scotland has to offer. Our journey begins with an over night stay at Tinto House Hotel, Biggar, to break up the journey. Day two starts with the magnificent engineering of the Falkirk wheel and a tour of the Kelpies, the world largest equestrian sculpture, before we reach the Oban Bay Hotel. Set on the edge of Oban’s picturesque esplanade, the heart of the Argyll, this is the perfect base from which to explore Scotland’s West Coast. Our excursions include a short cruise to Craigure, where we will take a guided tour to explore the Isle of Mull and Iona. We will visit the fascinating Inverary jail and court house, and enjoy a relaxing cruise on Loch Lomond, taking in the beautiful scenery. The jacobite Express Train is sure to be a favourite amongst many. The incredible 84-mile round trip, starting near Ben Nevis, takes you past some impressive scenery and along the famous ‘Harry Potter’ viaduct! It stops in the quaint fishing port of Mallaig before making its return journey. Don’t worry we have also included some free time to help you relax and enjoy a little whiskey tasting!
