The Red Arrows
One of the world’s premier display teams, The Red Arrows are making their return to the Clacton Air Show in 2018 after the huge success of last years display. With speed and precision, they have been flying since 1965 and are a much loved national icon. An electrifying demonstration of the capabilities of the Royal Air Force, the Red Arrows aren’t to be missed.
Aerobatic manoeuvres, including loops, rolls, spins, and hammerheads make up the aerobatic displays at Clacton this year. The inspiring level of skill involved in performing such stunts and the allure of the soul-stirring display make these aerobatic flights unmissable.
From WWII planes to Spitfires, the display of historical aircraft gives you a chance to see history in action. Bring to life the reality of flying throughout history. Honour fallen heroes and keep their memories alive by remembering what they gave for our country.
The Clacton site itself will be teaming with exhibits and displays, a food court, fun activities and entertainment. Children will have plenty to do while they wait for the aerial displays, and there’s a flight simulator to get your heart racing. There are plenty of local shops if you want to explore the area, or you can just enjoy the sea view.
